However, there are many models of downlight luminaires – how to select the best option? First, it is worth paying attention to a number of factors.

1. Construction. Some luminaires presented in the manufacturer's offer are intended for embedded in the ceiling, others for mounting on the ceiling. The second option will work well when the lamp is to also have a decorative function.

2. Brightness level. It is measured in lumens – the higher the level, the brighter the lamp will shine. However, you should not always choose the highest coefficients. It all depends on the type and size of the room and its application.

3. Color temperature. It is measured in Kelvin. A value less than 3000K will give a warm light, reminiscent of candlelight, while higher values will give a cooler light, similar to daylight. It is worth paying attention to whether luminaires will be used during the day, e.g. for work, or rather in the evening, e.g. for relaxation.

4. Beam angle. The narrower the light beam, the more concentrated the lighting – this type can be useful, for example, for spotlighting. Otherwise, a better choice will be a wide beam angle that creates a more subtle illumination.
